Survey Results: Desert island songs of Lata

In this final Lata SurveykshaN, covering all Hindi solos of Lata, participants were asked to select up to 50 solos (solos with chorus included) sung by Lata for Hindi film and non-film albums, for a desert island scenario. This survey followed a series of four period-based Lata surveys. You can seee results of the first part, second part, third part, and fourth part on this site.

'o sajanaa' from Parakh comes out as the most favorite Lata song of all-time, leading the pack with about 45% selections. Close on its heels is the 9-minute long classic from Guide - 'piyaa tose nainaa laage re' with about 43% votes. The all-favorite 'jyoti kalash chhalake' from Bhabhi Ki Chudiyan that took the top spot in one of the earlier period-based surveys, is third with over 40% selections. Almost with same number of selections, Lata's first big claim to fame 'aaegaa aane waalaa' from Mahal is next. 'phailii huii hai.n sapano.n kii baa.Nhe.n'' from House No. 44 gets a little over 37% votes to become the 5th most favorite song.
